QWho is GetGaming?

AGetGaming is a leading online video game rental service in Australia. With a choice of more than 1,000 titles, GetGaming delivers the widest selection and availability of games for the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Playstation 2, PSP, XBOX One, XBOX 360, Wii, Wii U and Nintendo DS gaming consoles without the hassle of due dates, late fees, limited selections and often high overnight rental rates. For as low as $24.95 a month, GetGaming members can rent one game at a time and keep them for as long as they like. Members manage their game queue online and games are posted direct to your door through Australia Post. GetGaming is also the best source for high quality, used and new video games as well as gaming consoles and accessories at exceptional prices.

QHow long will it take to get my games?

AOnce you have an active GetGaming Rental subscription, we will ship you the first available game or games depending on your game plan in your game queue. Currently, games ship from Bordertown, SA, Australia Post estimates on average 2 to 4 business days for shipping time to anywhere in the Australia. However, shipping times may vary from member to member as well as from shipment to shipment, depending on your local postal route, delivery location, volume of mail, weather, etc.

QHow do I cancel my membership?

AYou can cancel or change your rental subsciption membership at anytime, the easiest way to do this is to login to your GetGaming Account and head over to the My Account section, from there simple click the 'Choose a New Plan' link and change your membership to the free option. All billing on your account will cease so long as the current game(s) you have on rent have been returned to GetGaming. If you want to permantley delete your account please send an email to support@getgaming.com.au.

QWhat day of the month will I get billed for the monthly rental plans?

AYou will be billed on the same day or the next availble day that you subscribed to the rental plan. As an example if you subscribed on March 31st your next monthly billing charge will be done on April 30th then May 31st.

QCan I pay with via Direct Deposit?

AUnder certain circumstances we can offer payment via direct bank deposit, this however is not standard and can only be arranged by contacting GetGaming via email at support@getgaming.com.au.

QWhat is your cancellation/refund/return policy?

AMore detailed information can be found in the Website Terms and Conditions document. In short you can cancel or change your membership at anytime time so long as the requirements detailed in the Terms and Conditions are met. We offer a full refund or exchange for damaged or not as described goods purchased. We do not however offer returns/refunds or exchanges for change of mind purchases.

QWhat payment methods does GetGaming accept?

AGetGaming accepts payment with an Australian Visa Card, Mastercard or a Visa Debit Card. In the near futire we will also be offering payments made with PayPal. Under certain circumstances we can arrange payment via Direct Deposit but this based on individual assement and may not be offered to everyone who wishes to join.

QIf I sign up mid-month, will the first charge be prorated?

ARental Plan subscription payments are not prorated, billing occurs on what we call the anniversary date, this means that if you sign up on the 15th of the month you will be billed on the 15th of the following month and so on.

QAre there any places you won't post to?

AWe will post to all Australian states and territories. if it is part of Australia and Australia Post posts to it, we will post it there!

QI am staying at a hotel or motel. Can I have my games delivered to me there?

AIf this is your place of residence, then YES we will post it there.

QHow are my games sent?

AYour games will be sent to you via Australia Post, in the envelope you will receive the protective case for the game you have rented plus a return postage paid addressed envelope, ready for when you have finished playing the game and wish to return it.

QWill the postage envelopes say "Getgaming" or "Getgaming.com.au" on them?

AThere will be minimal branding on the envelopes sent to you, in most cases they will look like a standard letter.

QHow do I report a postage problem or a game that won't play?

AYou need to login to your GetGaming account and go to the My Account section, from there click on the My Rent link, this takes you to your rental history, in the sent items click on the report an item link that corresponds to the game that you wish to report a problem with.

QI lost the protective case which the game arrived in.

AIf you have lost the protective case that the game was posted to you in then not to worry, if you feel you can adequately send the game back in the envelope with some form of protection i.e. Between two pieces of stiff cardboard then please do so, if not please contact GetGaming either by telephone on 1300 459 719 or by email at support@getgaming.com.au and we will happily post you a new protective case so you can return the game without damage.

QI lost the prepaid return envelope used for returning the game.

AIf you lose the reply postage paid envelope, then please mail the game back to the address on the back of the protective case or to the following address: PO BOX 1035, DEE WHY, NSW 2099. Unfortunatley the return postage cost for lost envelopes will be at your expense. If you however received a game without a postage paid return envelope then please contact GetGaming either by telephone on 1300 459 719 or by email at support@getgaming.com.au and we will happily post you a return postage paid envelope ready for when you wish to return the game.

QIs GST included on all items, including the rental plans on your website?

AYes, all prices on the GetGaming website are INCLUSIVE of GST, this includes the monthly rental subscription plans. Your invoice that is emailed to you or downloaded in the My Account section will clearly display the amount of GST included in the purchases.

QIs there really no late fees or due dates?

AYES, there are absolutley no LATE FEES or DUE DATES, as a rental member you can keep the game(s) for as long or as short of a period as you like, you will not be billed late fees...EVER.

QWhy are your new games a lot cheaper than other retailers?

AHere a GetGaming our prime focus is on Game Rental, we also understand that some of the gamers we service often like to own their own copy, we believe that if you are one of these gamers then you should get the game for as low a cost as possible, and we at GetGaming will always try and deliver the lowest price possible.

QWhat condition are your rental and used games in?

AOur Rental games are in as new condition, everytime a game is returned it is check for marks and scratches and as required it is cleaned. Our second hand games for sale come from our rental library and are all cleaned for marks and if required discs are polished to remove fine scratches then they are the play tested to ensure they are problem free. You can be 100% guaranteed that you will be receiving games in as new condition. If you are not entirely satisfied with the condition of the discs please let us know.

QIs there a Rewards system in place on your website?

ANot as yet, we are currently working on a rewards based system that will be for both rental and sales. We will let all members know when it is ready to go.

QI really want a game but you do not seem to stock it?

AIf you find there is a title that we do not carry then we will be more than happy to attempt to track it down and add it to our library, both for rental and sale. Send us an email at info@getgaming.com.au with the name of the title and we will get back to you once we have aquired it.

QCan I preorder games for purchase and rental?

AYES you can, we will have most coming soon titles on the website, if you would like to reserve a copy for rental simply click the 'Rent It Soon' button, this way it will be added to your queue and will be posted out to you when it becomes available. If you would like to preorder a copy for purchase, simply click the 'Preorder Now' button and it will be added to you shopping basket. You will receive an email from GetGaming once the item becomes available at which point you can purchase directly from your shopping basket. We actively encourage members to preorder games both for rental and sale as it gives us greater flexibility in reserving new titles when they become available.

QDoes it make sense to rent games?

AWe think so, for a low monthly fee you get access to hundreds of game titles a lot of which are new releases, you can play for as long or as little as you like, you won't get late fees and there are no due dates. Renting makes sense because you don't have the frustration of buying a game at retail prices only to realise that it is not what you expected, with rental you simply pop it back in the case put it in the envelope and post it back, a new title is then sent you. Games are expensive, and with on average 7 games being released each month it can be a very expensive proposition if you want to play all the new releases available, rental gives you the flexiblilty at a much cheaper cost.
